Introduction

There are three types of Multi-Directional Lift Trucks: Counterbalance, Reach, and Sideloader, commonly known by their manufacturer name – Combilift.

The Combilift/Multidirectional Steer is designed to safely handle long and awkward loads through narrow aisles and doorways, enhancing the storage capacity of any warehouse. Its unique ability to move sideways allows it to operate in narrow spaces, regardless of the product’s length. With a simple switch, the truck can alternate between sideways and forward driving, making it ideal for handling palletised loads, block-stacking, or working in confined areas. These trucks can lift up to 25 tonnes and are powered by diesel, LPG, or electric options, with a maximum lifting height of 12 meters.

Operating these trucks safely requires advanced skills. Our instructors will ensure that, by the end of the course, all trainees understand their legal responsibilities for checking the truck’s safety and are proficient in operating the truck effectively and safely. Course durations will be customised based on the number of trainees and their experience level. Our team will collaborate with you to determine the most appropriate course for your needs.
