A mobile vertical platform, commonly referred to as a Scissor Lift, is a type of Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) designed to provide temporary access for people or equipment to hard-to-reach areas at height.
Scissor Lifts are ideal for a variety of tasks that require elevated access. These include activities like hanging signs, performing ceiling repairs, installing light fixtures, and carrying out maintenance work. They are also highly useful for outdoor projects, such as bricklaying, tree trimming, or working on power lines.
Widely used across numerous workplaces, operating a Scissor Lift safely and efficiently requires proper training. Kent Forklift Training ensures that all operators, regardless of their experience, gain the confidence and expertise needed to use these machines safely upon completing the course.

Upon successfully completing the course, trainees will receive an accredited or in-house certificate valid for three years. A refresher course is recommended every three years to maintain compliance and safety standards.
