Introduction

Lift truck managers and supervisors are responsible for ensuring workplace safety, as set out by the HSE’s legal requirements. These roles come with significant responsibility, and many individuals step into them without sufficient training. This course introduces trainees to the legal obligations supervisors and managers must follow in lift truck operations, ensuring safety and proper management of lift truck usage.

Training can be delivered on-site at the customer’s premises or in one of our accredited training centres.

Course Content

While this list is not exhaustive, here are some key topics covered during the training.

Upon successfully completing the course, trainees will receive an accredited or in-house certificate valid for three years. A refresher course is recommended every three years to maintain compliance and safety standards.

Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Approved Code of Practice (ACOP)
